Formula normalization
Ingredient names, trade names, CAS numbers, dilutions, concentrations, solvents, and suppliers are standardized into a structured formula model.
We do not claim to perfectly reproduce or predict scent and we are deliberately conservative about regulatory claims while the product is in discovery.
Ingredient names, trade names, CAS numbers, dilutions, concentrations, solvents, and suppliers are standardized into a structured formula model.
Formula ingredients are compared against safety, allergen, and restriction data, including IFRA Standards, the EU allergen list, and MoCRA-ready outputs so the system can flag possible issues for human review.
Materials are compared by supplier, availability, price, and substitution potential so cost drivers and alternatives become visible.
Longer term, Scenteia is building models that compare materials by their expected olfactory contribution, not only by chemical name or structural similarity.
Simple compound lists do not show which molecules actually matter to the perceived character of a scent. Our longer-term research direction explores odor impact to identify perceptually important molecules.
